Whether you’re a first timer or a seasoned traveler, it’s always helpful to have a travel checklist.
When packing for a vacation the most important things to consider are the length of your trip, the weather, and other gears you might need. This will also guide you in your decision if you’ll be checking a bag or only taking a carry-on.

Organize your travel essentials
Have a small bag or a shoulder bag to put all the essential items like you passport, ID, wallet and boarding pass. It is always nice to have a bag that’s easy to access so you don’t have to get into your luggage each time you need something.

Oh to travel again! Hopefully soon!!! I’d love to get my but overseas again!
I really love this checklist. I’ve done tons of traveling, but I still tend to forget things. I’ll be using this when things open up again.
This is a great list. The best way to get your trip off on the right foot is to get all your ducks a row. This is awesome.
This is such a helpful travel list! I love the 5-4-3-2-1 rule so easy to remember. Thanks for putting this list together. 🙂
This is such a cool post for most travellers to refer to. While I have travelled a lot, I still find that I fall victim to over-packing and taking way more than I need. This list might be helpful to break that habit and save a lot of unnecessary weight being taken all during each trip.
This is a great list. I can’t function without a list, and I am notorious among my friends and family for being a light packer.
I also have a checklist on my phone. I like this, very informative and being ready. I missed travelling and we’re on quarantine. Hayyyy
I never traveled overseas yet and will keep this as a good reference. I am used in packing for domestic travel, (the usual less than an hour packing mode), but this guide comes in handy. Bookmarked the link.
After reading this post, I felt that I overpacked my baggage the last time I travelled. Traveling should be simple and memorable. I consider my camera, phone, and laptop essentials…:)

Having a checklist is always ideal! Great travel list!
I have been travelling and the thing that I always forget is a pen. It’s intimidating to borrow from a stranger but silly me, I never learn. Thanks for the checklist! So helpful.
Wow! I used to forget so many of my things when I travel. Why didn’t I think of making a checklist? Thanks for sharing this! Will keep this in mind for my next travels hopefully after quarantine.
It’s a really nice guide and I like how you listed all the essentials in different categories. It really makes it easy for someone to pack up checklist by checklist.
Great guide and what a nice idea to have a travel checklist. I always end up missing to pack something.
Whoaaa! This is almost the same checklist that I’m currently drafting. I like it! ♡ Pero pag ako kase nag travel, I always tend to overpack lalo na pag di napaghandaan yung pag pack a few days before the trip HAHA kaya having a checklist is always a great idea. I bring almost everything on your checklist except sa padlock. Hihi :>>
I bring all of these in my travel except for the laptop because mine is too heavy! hehe.. Aside from these I also bring tissue and a malong to keep me warm when the airplane or bus gets too chilly. 🙂
I love this!! Any go to guide that can make my future travels much more easier is a big yes from me…thanks again x
that is a very good checklist. the chargers should be at the top of the LIST w/ adapters for international travel. it’s amazing how many folks have to buy chargers or adapters at the airport.
Oh my gosh I feel like we will all also be traveling with masks in future. Anyways, I love this guide and can’t wait to go travel again soon.
You should add reliable travel and health insurance. This is a must even before COVID-19.
Nice travel check list! To add, clothing that are (1) easily washable/dries easily and (2) a cover-up that goes with everything else you bring with you are some things you can include to the list! I rarely bring my own towels, toothpaste, and shampoos as I always stay in hotels, but you can never be too prepared!
I should have my own fanny pack next time I travel! btw, love your flatlay photos!
This is a great travel list that will help me be prepared for my next trip!
This checklist is really handy as there are usually stuff that tends to be forgotten. Thanks for sharing.
This is a great travel checklist. I have nothing else to think now but to travel after all of this.
yes!!! i do make a travel packing list especially i have to pack for 2 people – me and my son – and i usually pack 3-4 weeks prior to the trip para in case me maaalala pa ako na need ko pala dalin eh pasok lang ng pasok sa bag, until few days bago trip, repack and bawas hehe
Wow, just what i need!! I tend to over pack a lot and then, i would always have to rearrange everything again when we get to the airport. This list helps me put things in perpective. Hopefully, I’ll get to use this soon. Huhuhu.
when traveling season officially starts again, this is a big help checklist!
Cool checklist. This is a good reference for beginner travellers after the quarantine is lifted.
This will surely differ once you have children. Hehe. Though we haven’t been out of the country yet but dito pa lang sa PH marami na dala, what more outside. 😁 Still, a good reference for everyone
It is really necessary to travel light, at the same time, make sure that you have brought everything you need for the trip. This checklist is very useful for us to know the real essentials to bring in every travel. 🙂
As a mom, packing for a vacation is one of my struggles. It’s either I’m over baggage or kulang yung dala ko. This list is a big help for me. Thank you.
This is a very handy list! Whenever I book an accommodation, I always ask if they provide toiletries like towels, shampoo, and soap. It gives me more space.
This is a great help to those who love to travel so they’ll know what to bring and not to. Ako over packer ako haha kasi I have kid. But this time nalessen na kasi no need to bring milks and diapers na.
I love this travel checklist! I need this as I often travel. I tend to forget some stuff.
great and complete list! these are considered the basics when travelling. I always check a night before that I never forget something. It’s best to be prepared!
great list. i always have to have a list or i will forget something. i
